Navigating Hwy 66 Construction
Highway 66 through Sevier County is currently undergoing construction to add additional lanes and help make it even easier to visit Sevierville and the Great Smoky Mountains area. To help our visitors out, traffic congestion due to construction is being held to a minimum thanks to two things the Tennessee Department of Transportation is doing: 1) the main parts of the construction are taking place in the evening and overnight hours and 2) two lanes remain open at all times (which is the same number of lanes there have always been). As always, you’ll find less traffic during the week, so planning to arrive and depart on weekdays will definitely lessen your chances of meeting heavy traffic.

Visiting Businesses on Hwy 66
The construction process has been planned to create the least impact possible for travel on Hwy 66. Because of this, it is just as easy as ever to reach all the businesses on Hwy 66.
